Following a variety of releases and re-releases over the years (where it would also play under the title THE LIVER EATERS), SPIDER BABY seemed destined for obscurity; a flash in the memory of drive-in movie-goers and grindhouse transients.

Fast forward 40 years, and SPIDER BABY’S enduring popularity is wider than ever. Thanks to the efforts of writer/director Jack Hill in restoring the film, it will live on for generations to come through television broadcasts, documentaries, convention appearances and theatrical retrospectives all around the world—even an upcoming musical stage version.
